"West Ham keen on buying Wayne Rooney."
..If Manchester United say he can go".

NO THANKS.

3 years past it and would cost us massive amounts in salary and fee. Hope this is just a load of rubbish.

Re: "West Ham keen on buying Wayne Rooney."
there must be a striker somewhere in the world who is youngish hungry waould view west ham as a favourable step and is good enough to improve the squad

is it too much to ask?

even if ot does cost £30 mill plus -board have bigged it up before

Re: "West Ham keen on buying Wayne Rooney."
I think relegation could be a disaster for them. If enough people do not like the new stadium and those that do have been sold it on the idea of the club being more successful, then they could be looking at an almost empty stadium. There is no guarantee of promotion back to the Premier League, just look at Leeds, Coventry etc.

Re: "West Ham keen on buying Wayne Rooney."
The board is not serious about any of the big names, they tout them to make out they have ambition but secretly want to keep the place running on minimum outlay. It wouldnt surprise me if we get relegated next season because they'd love a bit of windfall and then promotion....

In amongst all this, you have to wonder why his kid is wearing an Adrian top in that picture/video/whatever.

Seems really odd. Maybe his kid just loves Adrian. Who knows?

I was in BML east side corner and it was the same. Going back a decade or so, not only did he get abuse but he looked surprisingly affected by it. The only player in recent history I can think of that was so visibly affected by fan banter was the Korean Reading player, must have also been more than a decade ago.

Re: "West Ham keen on buying Wayne Rooney."
I'd be hypocritical saying I wouldn't want Rooney, as I was really hoping we'd get Defoe in the last window, and still hope he comes in the summer. I think Rooney has a couple of seasons maybe left at this level, and a change with a point to prove may do him good. Although I should imagine Mrs Rooney will be eyeing LA.

Superb that people think the club would have nothing to do with leaking this. Back of a paper, maybe not, but to be leaked on sky just as we have 3 major injures, losing most weeks and ST Renewals REEKS of the porn scum.
